FULL CIRCLE REWORKS

  • Following up the release of "Full Circle", the critically acclaimed debut album of Robot Koch`s new ambient Project

    Foam and Sand, the award-winning composer returns with this Reworks Album.

    Full Circle Reworks comes with an international selection of some of the most interesting and upcoming names in the ambient/electronic/modern classical community.

  • Berlin-based musician, composer, and producer Midori Hirano reimagines the original modular synth track as piano-driven meditation that is pure hypnotic bliss. Subtle piano and electronic sounds blend into a melancholic texture that embraces you like a warm blanket.

    Hainbach, who uses nuclear lab equipment and a slowed-down tape machine to create a sonic world of its own. With critical acclaim from Pitchfork and The Wire, he is an interesting sonic influencer in the ambient and electronic scene.

    Slow Meadow has been celebrated by NPR and The New York Observer and reworks the original into a lush and atmospheric piece with piano and strings.

    Alaskan Tapes is a Canadian artist that has more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify for his soothing and minimalist ambient compositions that build on his past as a post-rock artist.

    British composer Tom Ashbrook creates a stunning and cinematic piece with analog synth and piano that sounds like the triumphant end credit score to a movie. His music has been supported on many genre-bending playlists between classical and electronic music.

    The Duo Arms and Sleepers from the US create a film noir night drive with their rendition to Circle 9.

    LA-based Beatmaker Birds Of The West has made a name for himself on all the big Lo-Fi beat playlists and takes the original ambient track and turns it into a Lo-Fi/Chill Gem that works both for deep concentration and cloud gazing.

    French pianist Julien Marchal has a distinct sound, his music is subtle but never just background. It allows for deep listening and clams the senses with a love for detail and subtlety that feels like the company of a good friend on a relaxing nature walk.

    Six Missing is an upcoming ambient talent from the States, who uses nature sounds in his sound design. He turns the original track into a deeply textured and meditative drone piece.

  • Excited to announce the release of "Full Circle Reworks", a collection of tracks from the Foam and Sand album, all reimagined by these amazing artists:

    @hainbach101 @midorihrn @slowmeadow @armsandsleepers @julienmarchal @tomashbrookmusic @alaskantapes @birds_of_the_west

    When @robotkoch hit me up to be a part of this project I was honored and excited to jump in. In fact I think I got straight to work on the piece and emailed him back a few days later. This entire album is epic and I still am floored at the company Iā€™m amongst.

    The way I described my piece is though you are on a ship out to sea in the middle of a dark and foggy evening. The storms are rolling in and the waters are getting choppy. You have but a gas lamp lighting the deck as the mist hits your face. Is that the shore up ahead?

    I implore you to listen to this record in headphones with the lights dimmed and in between a dream and awake state.

    Thanks for having me on board. Find it on @applemusic, @spotify, and more.
