LIGHT, AGAIN (SINGLE)

Each New Year’s Day, I release a new piece of music meant to help set intentions rather than resolutions. It’s a quiet tradition that began with Intention — a reminder that intentions can’t be broken, only renewed.

Light, Again continues that practice, offering a peaceful space to pause, breathe, and imagine what the new year might hold.

Built from gentle, bell-like tones and warm sub synths from my Minimoog, a slowly evolving pad from the Juno-60, and soft Rhodes and piano tines that dance around you — the piece swirls like color behind closed eyes. I benefit just as much from creating it as anyone listening — a shared meditation in sound and stillness.

It’s been such a beautiful practice releasing these annual pieces, perhaps we can all use the reminder to slow down, breathe, and appreciate just being alive.
