On a warm spring day in Austin, TX, Cor and TJ met at a Cosmic Ice Cream Social, yes this is true.

After connecting over a love of synths, effects, and ambient music - the two traded information and began collaborating.

Taking pieces of each member’s sound and composting it until something new and beautiful blossomed, including their friendship.

weareforests is a blip, a hush, and a mighty small inkling by Cor Wright. Based in Northern Colorado, the ambient sounds of weareforests are what have been // what have not been.

Six Missing is the ambient project of composer and sound designer TJ Dumser, creating immersive, emotionally resonant music rooted in presence and inner exploration. Blending analog synthesizers, guitar, tape textures, and subtle field recordings, the project focuses on deep listening and stillness — music designed to slow time, quiet the mind, and invite reflection.
